Snow (Humor Me)

It arrived under the cover of darkness (and I had so hoped to witness its coming), while we were sleeping under a pile of quilts. The infrequency of its coming makes it something of a wonder. An event to be recorded and preserved for posterity. (Humor me-this is after all South Texas!).









Water is already running off the roof and the sunny spots have melted. It will be gone by afternoon. Just a nice, polite little visit.

    A nice polite visit is a good thing. We wouldn't want it to overstay it's welcome ;-) So glad you were able to enjoy some snow.

    We also had snow, all day, although a lot of it didn't start sticking until noon. So, I did get to watch it falling; so beautiful! More came during the night, but it's already melting this morning.

    I awaited the snow with great anticipation, sadly we just received freezing rain and icy roads. Maybe next year!
