Psalm 143:8
As I sit at the kitchen table each morning, I look out this window and my heart is filled with gratitude for the blessings the Lord has so lovingly placed just within my view.

a sweet plant that produces fresh blooms every day - a gift from my daughter-in-law, "just because"

the bird bath - watching, over a second cup of coffee, as my little feathered friends (and an occasional furry one) come to get a drink or take a little bath

the humming bird feeder - they fly in at incredible speed and perch for a moment to sip the sweet water

I want to hold in my heart the glimpses of His constant love.
Blessings,
Linda
your eyes behold great beauty because your heart does too.
ReplyDeletemay your weekend be filled with seeing unto Him
Good Morning Linda!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying my first cup of coffee looking out over the gladiolas I planted in honor of my mother (her favorite).
I just glanced up at what Laure wrote and oh how true that is...

Beautiful treasures ~ Beautiful heart
All the best, Maria
Such a good reminder that sometimes the simplest of things become some of life's greatest blessings when we take time to reflect on them... all because of God's goodness and love to us!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
There are so many glimpses of His love that are given to us to behold. If only we take the time to stop and see them as you did here today. Thanks for the reminder Linda!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it awesome to see HIS glory in the little things. I think it helps us appreciate His gifts to us so much more.... the simple things. I know you probably get tired of me saying that ...but I am learning that it is the simple things that the Lord gives that gives me the most... JOY and peace.
ReplyDeleteblessings,

Love your morning view and your porch post (o: I saw some great porches this morning in the older part of town. They had an area garage sale. I decided to go back to take porch pictures (o:
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post. I like the plant on your windowsill. Do you like to decorate? I am still learning how to choose fabrics and decide where to put things.
ReplyDeleteLinda...
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful view. But I suspect that no matter what window you are looking through, your eyes will always find beauty.
You have such a sweet spirit! Thank you for encouraging me to think of the empty nest in your comment over at my place. Oh, my goodness, did your words strike my heart! I can't imagine not hearing their goofy laughter, or considering what they need before planning my day.
Yes. I will savor this time, and I thank you for reminding me to do so.
Warmly,
Laura
